I just found a super hot dining spot in Landmark 81 that not a few people don't know yet — Ussina Aging Beef & Bar, floor 77. Not floor 66, okay? It's ten floors higher.
📍Floor 77, Vincom Landmark 81, 720A Điện Biên Phủ, Ward 22, Bình Thạnh, Ho Chi Minh City
🕐 Open until 23:00 daily
The first thing everyone mentions when reviewing this place: the view. Every table is right by the window, looking down you see all of Saigon — Saigon River, Vinhomes, sparkling city lights. Some people book the corner with two glass sides to take in the full sunset, then say the view is even better than expected. Sitting here as the sky turns dark and watching Saigon light up — indescribable.
But the great thing is the food doesn't get overshadowed by the view. On the contrary, not a few people come for the view, then leave remembering the food more.
Wagyu beef is the most mentioned dish — soft, melts in your mouth, not heavily seasoned, just right. The menu mainly revolves around beef (aging beef — dry-aged beef), with added seafood, eel rice, Italian pasta. One reviewer said they don't like Italian pasta but here it's just right, rich but not cloying. The Special Wagyu Beef Combo is highly recommended.
The point that stands out most to me when reading reviews: the staff is too great.
There was a case where customers booked a table without noting anything about a birthday, but the staff overheard it was the mother-in-law's birthday — at the end of the meal, they brought out a cake with "Happy Birthday" and sang. The restaurant wasn't requested beforehand.
Another case — customers sitting felt cold, staff asked if they needed a shawl. Then knowing it was their wedding anniversary, gifted two small cakes.
Those little details like that, not every place can do — and that's why 4.8 stars isn't fake.
Price reference:
Lunch: around 600–700k/person
Dinner: usually from 700k–1 million+/person depending on orders
Group of 6 for dinner, total bill ~4.6 million
Simple menu, not too many choices — but what comes out is what it is. A well-known reviewer who's eaten here many times still says every visit is satisfying.
One small downside: sometimes some seafood dishes (like lobster, salted pork) run out early. If coming late at night and there's a dish you want to try, ask first or book table + ask menu when reserving.
Space is a bit small — but the great thing is small but not stuffy, because all glass walls, airy light. So book a table in advance, don't rely on luck especially on weekends.
This type of restaurant is suitable for: dates, anniversaries, birthdays, light partner meetings, or simply wanting a dinner totally different from usual. Not cheap but many say it's worth it when leaving.
Just remember to book in advance, choose a table right by the glass window — that's more important than many people think.
