Light review of Chào Show
In Ho Chi Minh City, besides the bustling eateries or familiar entertainment spots, there are still art shows that carry a strong Vietnamese cultural identity, very beautiful and worth watching,
(this show I think is suitable for all ages, not suitable for those who like a dynamic atmosphere).
Chào Show is a musical journey lasting about 90 minutes, taking viewers through cultural regions from North – Central – South to the Central Highlands forests. More than 30 types of ethnic musical instruments are used in the program: from bamboo tubes, bamboo pipes, lithophones, to gongs… all blending to create a “Vietnamese symphony” that is both traditional and full of emotion.
Each performance is like telling a very unique cultural story, sometimes lively, sometimes profound, making me truly feel the beauty of ethnic music.
Sitting to enjoy cuisine while watching the performance like this suddenly makes me think fun: In the old days, our kings probably also ate, chatted, and enjoyed art like this, right 😝😝
