XIAN NIU LAU BUFFET - FRESH BEEF HOT POT CHAOSHAN STYLE AT PEARL PLAZA
I just came back from eating Chaoshan beef hot pot buffet at XIAN NIU LAU and the experience was really good. I wanted to share it with everyone to try (if you're near the D2 Nguyen Gia Tri area, this place is even closer). The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of Pearl Plaza, Dien Bien Phu - very easy to find.
About pricing:
Buffet price is around 500-600k per person (some say 479k so it may vary by time slot), open until 2 AM so late night dining is fine too.
Food:
Fresh beef: This is the strongest point, delicious fresh beef with diverse cuts
Seafood: Has shrimp, squid, octopus, meatballs... MEAT-PACKED CRAB (size about 3-4 per 1kg), some even have roe. I like eating crab so I focused on eating lots of crab
Hot pot broth: Many different flavors to choose from, the cheese sauce is very delicious
Desserts: Many dessert options, has bingsu if you book the table in advance
Food is constantly refilled, dishes come out quickly
Space & Amenities:
Notably has unlimited VIP karaoke rooms with NO ADDITIONAL FEES - very suitable for groups of 7-10 people who want to do karaoke and buffet together (remember to book in advance)
Restaurant is clean, comfortable space
Service available both lunch and dinner, open until 2 AM
Major plus point! The staff are all SUPER enthusiastic and charming. Some staff even peel shrimp for customers, very dedicated
Food doesn't have TONS of variety in dishes but good quality, focusing on the main items which are fresh beef and seafood
Desserts felt not very delicious (personal preference)
If you like eating fresh beef hot pot Chinese style then this place is VERY suitable. Going to eat fresh beef hot pot at other restaurants and having unlimited crab and abalone comes out to about the same price anyway, but here you can eat comfortably. Just opened and the service is this good already, I hope they maintain it so I can come eat many more times!
At the 500-600k price point, getting fresh beef buffet + seafood + free karaoke + good service like this then I think it's great. Will definitely come back!
