Park No. 1 on Ly Thai To Street Nearly Complete, Ready for Inauguration Before Tet Binh Ngo
At 8:30 a.m. on February 2, the water drop symbol was placed by the construction unit at the center of the lake at Park No. 1 on Ly Thai To Street.
The water drop symbol is made of high-durability alloy, rust-resistant, shiny. Specially, the inside of the water drop symbol is hollow, specially designed so that when light (sun, moon) shines through, viewers will see a heart shape.
This symbol is the highlight of the Park No. 1 Ly Thai To project.
According to Vung Tau Urban Investment and Development Co., Ltd., the water drop evokes a tear of sadness, but with the heart placed inside, it carries the idea of compassion and human love.
With a circumference of 13m, height of 6m, the monument made of mirror stainless steel reflects the images of everyone, like a message that no one has to be lonely in that sadness.
The main entrance of the park is at the corner of Ly Thai To - Hung Vuong, adjacent to the roundabout. Entering from the main entrance, people will step into a large welcoming square of thousands of square meters, passing a path with many green trees, people will reach the water drop fountain square of about 1,800m2.
The main square is the fountain lake, in the middle is the water drop symbol. The fountain lake is arranged in steps for people to sit and rest, admire the water drop symbol. Here, thousands of lights are arranged to make the symbol sparkle at night.
Following the main square is the green tree square, grass hill and square, grass field, observation pavilion... 4 old villas in the park are preserved and restored to become restaurant, community house, public library and art gallery/museum, public restroom area… serving the needs of visitors.
