Your Unexpected Culinary Journey Through Brussels' Best Eats

🍽️ Brussels Cuisine — An Unexpected Culinary Journey 🇧🇪

Brussels is not only famous as the "chocolate capital" of Europe but also a fascinating culinary paradise, from street food to rich local flavors! Here are the spots I experienced and highly recommend trying when visiting Brussels 👇

✨ 1. Bubble – Bún Bò Huế (Rue Jules Van Praet)
A Vietnamese restaurant right in the old town center, where I had authentic Southern-style Bún Bò Huế, piping hot and incredibly aromatic and delicious, never gets boring no matter how much you eat! 🇻🇳

🦪 2. Mer du Nord – Noordzee (Rue Sainte-Catherine)
Famous seafood spot in the city center with a variety of fresh seafood daily, I tried garlic stir-fried shrimp and snail meat soup which were very appealing, reasonable prices and super chill atmosphere!

🍟 3. Frituur Tabora (Rue de Tabora)
Belgian-style french fries, frites crispy outside and soft inside, paired with many super appealing sauces. This is a "must-try" when in Brussels because Belgium is the birthplace of frites!

🧇 4. Waffle (Rue de Tabora)
Belgian waffles with two basic styles: lightly crispy crust or soft and chewy, topped with cream, fruits, caramel or chocolate — a perfect sweet combo while strolling the streets.

🍫 5. Belgian Chocolate
Wandering around the old town, you'll encounter traditional chocolate shops with all kinds of praline, truffle and many variations like chocolate ice cream. Enjoying Belgian chocolate is something you can't miss in Brussels!
