How to Make Perfect, Non-Sticky Stir-Fried Glass Noodles

Secret to making stir-fried glass noodles that are fluffy, not sticky

  • Soak glass noodles in cold filtered water for about 10-15 minutes.
  • After soaking, drain, mix in a little cooking oil to make the noodles fluffy.
  • Slice sausage or ham into strips as desired.
  • Vegetables: use whatever vegetables you have, everyone, all washed clean, sliced into strips. Our house has carrots and cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms.
  • Stir-fry sauce: 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp seasoning powder, 2 tsp soy sauce, 2 tsp oyster sauce, 6 tsp water. Stir to dissolve the mixture.
  • Sauté fragrant minced onion and garlic. Add carrots, cabbage, glass noodles and stir-fry. Add 1/2 of the sauce. Then add sausage and season with the remaining 1/2 sauce.
  • Toss evenly until everything is cooked, add chopped green onions and cilantro, add pepper and chili if liked.
Remember to eat hot, folks, it's super delicious :))
