Busan Day 3 - Gamcheon Culture Village

My journey exploring Busan on day 3 began with morning coffee at 10:00 at the 13th floor of Lotte Department Busan - a spacious rooftop café with a 360-degree panoramic view of Busan (from my hotel, it took 5 minutes to Dongnae station and line 1 to Busan Station to buy KTX tickets to Seoul tomorrow morning on 1/30 - since I didn't buy tickets online in Hanoi, I needed to authenticate my VCB visa card with 3D verification on the KTX website, and since I don't have international roaming, I had to go to Busan station to buy tickets in person. One-way KTX ticket from Busan to Seoul takes 2 hours 35 minutes, economy class seat costs 59,800 KRW per ticket). From Busan station, I took bus number 71 to Lotte Mall - took the elevator up to the 13th floor for morning coffee and to admire the panoramic view of Busan. Then went downstairs to shop during the Grand Sale. Had lunch.

At 14:00, took bus number 61 from the bus stop opposite Lotte heading straight to Gamcheon Culture Village - young people will absolutely love this place, every corner is perfect for check-ins and TikTok videos 💕😍.

At 16:00, I returned to Dongnae for dinner and strolled along Oncheoncheon Light Festival - right near my hotel.

Ended 3 days of very enjoyable activities in Busan.

Tips

Anyone planning to visit Busan on 12/31 and 1/1 should know that Haeundae Beach hosts a grand Count Down during the Light Festival - with fireworks and beautiful weather, everyone stays on the beach to welcome the new year. I heard it's amazing too, but tomorrow morning I'm heading to Seoul to do the count down at Namsan Tower instead.
