The 2025 Halla Snowflower Bus is scheduled to operate for a total of 80 days from Saturday, December 13, 2025, to March 2, 2026. It's timed perfectly to see the most beautiful snowscapes of Halla Mountain during winter, so it fits perfectly with your Jeju one-month living plan. On the first day of operation, December 13 at 8:20 AM, there's an event at Jeju Bus Terminal praying for safe operation.

Halla Mountain 1100m altitude, winter Jeju must-visit places
The Halla Snowflower Bus operates mainly on two routes: 1100 and 1100-1. Choose the convenient route based on your departure point!
✅ 1100 route:
Departure: Jeju Bus Terminal
Main stops: Halla Hospital → Eorimok → 1100m altitude → Yeongsil Visitor Center
Good for whom?: Especially convenient for those coming to Halla Mountain from northern or western Jeju.
Frequency: 32 times a day on weekends/holidays, additional 18 times on weekdays.
✅ 1100-1 route:
Departure: Seogwipo Registry Office
Main stops: Seogwipo Terminal → Yeongsil Visitor Center → 1100m altitude → Eorimok
Good for whom?: Think of it as a southern or western access route dedicated to those wanting to go straight to Halla Mountain from Seogwipo area.
Frequency: 10 times a day on weekends/holidays, additional 10 times on weekdays.

Previously, the bus interval on 1100 road was 5090 minutes, which was quite long, but with the expansion of Halla Snowflower Bus operations, an additional 42 services on weekends and holidays shorten the interval to 1030 minutes! Thanks to this, you can enjoy Halla Mountain snowscapes more leisurely.

✅ Recommended Course 1 — Jeju Bus Terminal → Eorimok → 1100m altitude → Yeongsil
• Take the 1100 bus early in the morning from Jeju Bus Terminal
• Get off at Eorimok trail entrance and take a short snowflower walk
• Then at 1100m altitude rest area, admire the snow-covered snowscape & photo time
• Finally, get off at Yeongsil trail entrance, walk along the winter forest path and descend toward Seogwipo
• This course has a relatively strain-free route, allowing you to enjoy both snowflower scenery and forest path snowscapes.
✅ Recommended Course 2 — Seogwipo Terminal → Yeongsil → 1100m altitude → Eorimok → Jeju city center
• If departing from Seogwipo side, board the 1100-1 bus

• Finally, return to Jeju city center via Eorimok trail
This course has relatively low difficulty route + allows experiencing both Seogwipo and Jeju city areas.
Both courses have trails that aren't too long — if your goal is just "light winter Halla Mountain walk + snowscape viewing + photos," they're fine. However, since weather and snow conditions can be fickle, be sure to check the day's weather / icing situation!
