Paris Metro Navigo Pass: Can It Be Used on Buses Too?
Good evening, everyone! I always look forward to reading all of your shared information.
Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting Paris for the very first time. Getting around was quite easy once I figured out the system. I purchased the Navigo pass for the Metro, which allowed unlimited travel for €12 for the day, and it proved incredibly convenient.
A guide advised me that you have to move quickly and decisively—almost shoulder-barging—when entering the turnstile. If you hesitate or move too slowly, you might get stuck as the gate won't open properly. Furthermore, I was warned that if you accidentally swipe your card twice, you won't be able to enter the gate again for 15 minutes! It took some getting used to, and I certainly felt a bit clumsy at first.
Navigo Card Usability Question
I have a crucial question for those who are more experienced travelers in Paris: Can the exact same Navigo card I bought for the Metro also be used on the buses?
Since returning home, I cannot stop thinking about the sights of Paris and, especially, those absolutely exquisite croissants. They were truly divine! I am already starting to plan my next trip back very soon.
