Tam Thang Tower: A Striking Vung Tau Landmark on Thuy Van Square

Tam Thắng Tower: A Beacon of Maritime Spirit and Community Celebration

The overall design of Tam Thắng Tower evokes the proud prow of a ship sailing towards the vast ocean. This striking silhouette embodies a powerful will and a commitment to safeguarding our coastal borders. Its unique structure features triangular pillars, artfully arranged into three distinct triangular sections. Each section represents one of the three neighboring villages: Thắng Nhất, Thắng Nhì, and Thắng Tam. The pillars themselves vary in height, ranging from an impressive 10.9 meters to over 31.6 meters, with their elevation gradually increasing as they point towards the sea.

At its highest point, Tam Thắng Tower culminates in the Vọng Cảnh peak. Below, a semi-underground space spanning nearly 450 square meters is thoughtfully designed to serve as a vibrant spot for photos and a refreshing cafe, offering visitors a place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Thùy Vân Square: A Hub for Events and Community

Thùy Vân Square itself is a significant element within the larger Thùy Vân Street enhancement project, covering an expansive 5,800 square meters. Tam Thắng Tower stands as the architectural centerpiece of this revitalized area, occupying over 3,000 square meters and encompassing both the distinctive tower pillars and integrated tiered seating. The expansive front area is envisioned as a dynamic space for hosting events, complete with captivating water music performances.

A Grand Opening on the Horizon

The Tam Thắng Tower project is anticipated to be fully completed by August 22nd. This timely finish is crucial for preparing the area to welcome celebrations for National Day on September 2nd and to officially inaugurate the new Thùy Vân park and square.
