Nestled in the charming neighborhood of Wolli Creek, just a stone's throw from Sydney International Airport, you'll find a bustling Asian enclave. During my last Sydney adventure, I revisited a bubble tea shop that captured my heart: Machi Machi. I had enjoyed their drinks so much previously that a return visit was absolutely essential.

My friend and I both opted for the classic Black Tea Milk Tea. I decided to add matcha jelly for an extra layer of flavor and texture, while my friend chose to stick with the traditional tapioca pearls. One of the great things about Machi Machi is the ability to customize sweetness levels. We both went with the standard option, and I discovered that for this particular drink, the default sweetness is precisely what allows its true flavors to shine. I usually prefer less sweet drinks, but Machi Machi's standard is perfect!
