Back Home from Europe: Paris Delights and Monet's Garden (A Quick Trip!)

A Parisian Adventure: Reflections on a Wonderful European Trip

I'm back home safe and sound after a fantastic trip to Europe! It was such a joy to finally experience Paris, and the week I spent there truly flew by. I'm so grateful for all your helpful advice before I left. Knowing where to go and what to expect really allowed me to relax and soak in all the magic. Thank you, everyone!

Parisian Delights and a Missed Magical Moment

One of my biggest dreams was to experience the nighttime show at Disneyland Paris. Sadly, due to the holiday season, I couldn't secure a pre-booked taxi, especially one with a Japanese driver, so I had to let that particular wish go for this visit. It's a good reminder to plan those details meticulously, especially during peak travel times.

However, Paris itself is an absolute treasure trove of wonders! The food was divine, from the freshly baked bread to the exquisite pastries. Even more heartwarming was the genuine kindness of the people I encountered.

A Stroll Through Monet's Enchanted Garden

A highlight for me was venturing out to Giverny to visit Claude Monet's house and gardens. I was genuinely surprised by the sheer expanse of the gardens; they were much larger than I'd imagined! An explosion of colorful flowers greeted me at every turn, creating a truly breathtaking spectacle. While this stunning floral wonderland is only open during the summer months, I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone with an interest in Monet's art and life. Be warned, though, it gets incredibly busy, so booking your tickets in advance is an absolute must.
