Phan Thiet Trip: Resort Lunch, Mandala Cham Bay Tips, and Beachside Fun

Phan Thiết Getaway: Insider Tips from a Recent Trip

I recently returned from a fantastic trip to Phan Thiết, and I've gathered some valuable insights, thanks to tips shared within our community!

Day 1: Culinary Delights and Coastal Views

Our journey began with a direct drive from Saigon to Stop And Go Làng Chài Resort for a delicious lunch. We indulged in their famous lẩu thả, and I must say, the ambiance was charming with well-prepared dishes that hit the spot.

As we prepared to depart, the resort's front desk kindly arranged for a familiar car service to take us to our pre-booked accommodation. While awaiting our ride, I took the opportunity to explore the resort's rooms. They are conveniently located about 100-200 meters from the restaurant and right on the beachfront. The resort's transport offered a scenic route, passing through local villages interspersed with residential areas.

Settling into Mandala Cham Bay

Our chosen haven was Mandala Cham Bay. A pro-tip: you can proactively share your booking confirmation via Zalo with the hotel to discover which tower you'll be staying in. The shuttle conveniently takes you directly to your designated tower for a smooth check-in process. If you arrive early and your room isn't ready, request a booking confirmation letter from the reception to access resort activities like the kids' club and swimming pools. Mandala offers a wealth of services, as highlighted in the provided images. Knowing these in advance significantly enhances your ability to enjoy them.

My little one was thrilled with the foam party at the pool, so we made sure to time our visits perfectly. Unfortunately, strong winds prevented us from enjoying the drone show, which was a bit of a disappointment. Regarding the pools, the main pool on the ground floor is more exposed to the wind compared to the two infinity pools on the 25th floor and those facing the sea. A crucial reminder for your stay at Mandala: always carry your room key! It's needed not only for pool access and towel rentals but also to retrieve your key card after returning towels.

The beach area across the road from Mandala is dotted with various eateries. You'll find fresh seafood cooked on the spot, delicious bánh bột lọc, warm soybean pudding, and the intriguing cháo dã tràng, which I regrettably didn't get a chance to try. We used our room key to borrow a boat from the Mandala lifeguards for some picturesque photos by the shore, though we didn't venture out onto the sea.

It's worth noting that Mandala accommodates both hotel guests and condotel residents, with slightly different key cards. However, the condotel access grants you entry to numerous convenience stores and affordable eateries located in the shophouse area.

Heading Back to Saigon

Tomorrow, we'll be traveling back to Saigon from Mandala. I'll be sure to update everyone on the transportation situation!
