Parisian Adventures: Day 3 at Disneyland! (A True Disney Fan's Diary)
Our Parisian journey continues with a full day dedicated to the magic of Disneyland! Having departed our city hotel, we made our way to the Walt Disney Studios Park at 10:40 AM.
Walt Disney Studios Park Highlights
- Avengers Assemble: Flight Force – Kicking off our park adventure with this exhilarating rollercoaster! It was a thrilling ride, and we dove right in.
- Ratatouille: The Adventure – This was a major highlight for us! To maximize our time, we opted for single rider, splitting up for the experience. It was fantastic fun!
At 11:50 AM, we captured some memorable moments with photos in the Toy Story themed area.
- Cars: Race Rally – This attraction was a visual treat, complete with bursts of fire and a dramatic water-dousing finale. We thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle.
At 1:00 PM, we were captivated by the live show "Mickey and the Magician."
Disneyland Park Immersion
We then transitioned to the iconic Disneyland Park, arriving at the entrance for photos at 1:40 PM.
- A photo session in front of the magnificent castle was, of course, a must-do.
- At 3:00 PM, we experienced the "Disney Stars on Parade" for the first time. Seeing it in person, just as we'd seen in photos, was incredibly exciting!
- The characters and dancers were all so charming, and the proximity to the action on the central stage during the "A Million Splashes of Colour" show was a delightful surprise, feeling much closer than in Japan.
A welcome break for a delicious waffle at 3:30 PM recharged us for the afternoon.
- We strategically moved for our second viewing of "A Million Splashes of Colour" at 4:10 PM, having learned the best spots from the first show. It paid off with an even better experience!
- We spent some time relaxing and securing our viewing positions for the evening parade.
- The "Disney Stars on Parade" at 6:00 PM truly brought the park to life.
Our exploration continued with a leisurely stroll through the park, including a whimsical ride on "It's a Small World" and some souvenir shopping.
Afterwards, at 8:40 PM, we visited the World of Disney store just outside the main park gates, picking up some Rice Krispie treats.
- The "Disney Electrical Sky Parade" was a breathtaking spectacle. The quality of this drone show is truly next level and a definite must-see when visiting Disneyland Paris.
- The closing castle show, "Disney Illuminations," began as the park prepared to close. After the final magical moments, we made a swift exit to catch our transport. A crucial tip: always confirm the last train times!
We arrived back at our hotel just before 1:00 AM, filled with unforgettable memories from our Disneyland adventure.
