A Delightful Pastry Shop in District 1
I've found a Western-style bakery in District 1 that I absolutely adore! Their croissants are delicious, and their cakes are constantly being updated with new designs. On my recent visit, I noticed they've launched a special collection for International Children's Day (June 1st), featuring many adorable creations, and they're already taking pre-orders.
Croissant Heaven
They must have over a dozen croissant options here, and each one is impressive. From the simple plain croissant to more elaborate varieties like the Moonie with young rice filling, or even a truffle croissant that I once reviewed in a group, there's something for everyone.
Decadent Cakes and Pastries
The selection of chilled cakes is equally impressive. Besides their signature Saint Honore, the fruit cakes are also quite tempting, especially those featuring strawberry, mango, and yuzu.
Quality Ingredients and Craftsmanship
The owner clearly invests heavily in top-notch ingredients like AOP butter, Kiri cheese, Lescure butter, and Boiron fruit purees. This explains the relatively higher prices. It's a perfect spot for those passionate about Western pastries with eye-catching designs and high-quality ingredients—something not every bakery in Saigon can offer.
