Big News! Visiting the Giza Pyramids is Changing!
New Transportation System for Giza Pyramid Complex
Heads up, explorers! Starting in early April, getting around the magnificent Giza Pyramid Complex is getting a makeover. The investors responsible for the site are introducing a brand-new bus system designed specifically for visitors.
What does this mean for you? Well, private vehicles will no longer be allowed to roam freely within the complex, individually transporting visitors. Instead, get ready to hop on the official complex buses. You'll join fellow adventurers in a queue, eagerly awaiting the shuttle that will whisk you away to explore the wonders.
Hop-On, Hop-Off Adventure
The new system features a circular route with a total of seven stops. These buses will start near the Fayoum Road entrance, loop all the way to the iconic Sphinx, and then return to the starting point. Expect a bus to arrive approximately every 5 to 6 minutes, ensuring minimal wait times. Plus, four of the stops even have shaded shelters to keep you cool while you wait.
Large Group Exception
Got a big crew? If your tour group has more than 25 people, you're in luck! In this case, your private tour bus will still be permitted to enter the complex, allowing you to travel together.
