Your Guide to Disneyland Hong Kong: A Dream Come True
Planning a trip to Hong Kong and dreaming of visiting Disneyland? You're in for a magical experience! It's a place where you can feel like a princess and relive the childhood joy of Disney movies.
I recently had an amazing trip to Disneyland Hong Kong and I want to share my experience with you. Disneyland was a childhood dream of mine ever since I saw it on TV.
Tickets and Reservations
- I purchased my ticket through Klook. Afterward, I went to the official Disney website to confirm my reservation and select my visit date.
- Pro Tip: If possible, consider purchasing an Early Park Entry pass to get in early and enjoy the popular rides before the crowds arrive.
- Tip: Try to visit during the week to avoid larger crowds.
Explore the Magic: Disneyland's Lands
Disneyland Hong Kong is divided into eight themed lands, each offering unique adventures:
- Main Street USA
- Adventureland
- Tomorrowland
- Fantasyland
- Toy Story Land
- Mystic Point
- Grizzly Gulch
- World of Frozen
Important Things to Know Before You Go
- Disneyland provides luggage storage (suitcases are not allowed inside the park).
- Outside food and drinks are generally not allowed (security will check bags). Small snacks are okay.
- Download the Disneyland app beforehand to access park maps, ride wait times, and show schedules.
My Favorite Experiences
Here are some of the highlights of my trip:
Adventureland
Jungle River Cruise: A boat ride exploring the jungle rivers. I waited in line for about 30–45 minutes.
Grizzly Gulch
Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars: A thrilling roller coaster with lots of surprises! The wait can be long (over an hour), so I used a Fast Pass to skip the line. This was my favorite ride of the day!
Toy Story Land
Toy Story Land is so vibrant, with lots of fun rides. RC Racer is an intense ride, I waited about 30-45 minutes. Toy Soldier Parachute Drop is also very fun!
Mystic Point
Mystic Manor: A unique and fascinating experience where you're transported on a vehicle through a series of surprising and delightful illusions. I highly recommend this ride.
Tomorrowland
Iron Man Experience: A fun and immersive 3D movie. Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle: An interactive shooting game. I didn't enjoy this one as much.
World of Frozen
Frozen Ever After: A boat ride through the magical ice kingdom of Arendelle, just like stepping into the Frozen movie!
Fantasyland
It's a Small World: A gentle boat ride showcasing stories from around the world.
Other enjoyable rides include Hyperspace Mountain and Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs.
Evening Entertainment
Around 6 PM, I secured a good spot to watch the musical performance and the firework display.
The fireworks at Disneyland are truly spectacular and moving, a perfect "back to childhood" moment!
Food and Merchandise
There are many food options available inside Disneyland. I tried the giant turkey leg, which was quite an experience (tasty but huge!), priced around ~500. There are many merchandise stands across the lands, where you can buy your very own souvenir!
Disneyland also offers adorable merchandise. Each land has its own store with unique items. Perfect for photo ops and souvenirs!
Come to Disneyland, where dreams come true and you can experience the world of Disney princesses!
