Prague Travel Guide: A Whirlwind 48 Hours
Getting Around Prague
I opted for a Regio bus ticket via Omio because it offered the most budget-friendly option compared to trains or flights. Plus, the bus station was conveniently close to my place!
Accommodation: My Home Away From Home
This time, I booked a one-night stay at Seven Hostel. Although it's a 30-minute train ride from the city center, the nightly rate was incredibly reasonable. The police station being just a short walk away also made me feel extra safe during my stay.
Must-See Prague Attractions
- Vyhlídka Na Opyši (Scenic Viewpoint)
- St Nicholas Bell Tower
- Charles Bridge
- The Powder Tower
- PALLADIUM Praha (Shopping Center)
- National Museum - The front area is currently under renovation, so I wouldn't highly recommend it at the moment.
- Army History Museum - Highly recommended!
Foodie Finds in Prague
- Café Platýz - A traditional Prague spot. Delicious and reasonably priced.
- Cà phê - Serves authentic Vietnamese Pho.
- bento café & bistro - Their braised pork rice is quite tasty.
Trip Costs
My total expenses for this 2-day, 1-night trip to Prague came to around €150. This included bus tickets, accommodation, food, and a few souvenirs to remember my time in Prague.
Enjoy these snapshots of the city through my lens!
