The Matcha Tokyo Now in Vietnam: Rich Flavor, Worth the Price

The Matcha Tokyo Now in Vietnam: Rich Flavor, Worth the Price

Following the event line, The Matcha Tokyo has officially "landed" in Vietnam 🍵
Allow me to recount a bit of my hard-earned experience at The Matcha Tokyo Vũ Khang – Shanghai for you all to hear 😌
Straight up: the matcha here is really intense. Intense in the way that as soon as you drink it, you know right away "ah, this is premium green tea," not the kind of matcha mixed just for the green color for fun. The tea aroma is clearly fragrant, with a lingering aftertaste, and after drinking, you understand why people are obsessed with Japanese matcha.
The matcha ice cream is delicious. Creamy just right, not overly sweet, and especially doesn't melt quickly. The kind where you can hold it in hand, pose for 3–4 Instagram shots, finish posting the story, and the ice cream is still intact 😭👏 very thoughtful for people like me who eat and shoot at the same time.
The price is honestly not cheap. In China, I bought it for around 40 RMB ~ about 160k VND. It hurt a little when pulling out the wallet, but for an experiential eat that's delicious, it's okay.
And to be fair, it's worth trying at least once, especially for matcha lovers who like intense flavor, not overly sweet stuff.
Now the good news is The Matcha Tokyo has arrived in Vietnam 🎉 Heard the price in VN ranges around 90k – 160k, which is much more accessible than in China. So you don't need to fly to Shanghai, don't need to stand in the crowded Vũ Khang, you can still experience it nhaaaa
