Nội Bài T2: Check-in Guide for International Flights, Avoid Delays

✈️ LATEST UPDATE ON INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT CHECK-IN COUNTERS, TERMINAL T2, NOI BAI AIRPORT – GOING TO THE WRONG ONE WILL WASTE BOTH TIME AND MONEY!

Everyone pay attention! After the expansion of Terminal T2 at Noi Bai, all check-in counters have been rearranged, no longer the same as before. If you don't check carefully from the start, it's very easy to go to the wrong door, wrong island, and have to drag your luggage back around. On busy days, you might miss the check-in deadline, even miss your flight.

Currently, the check-in area is divided from island A to island L, from East to West. Each door D1, D2, D3 has electronic boards clearly indicating which airline is at which island, but during peak hours it looks quite confusing, so Nam will detail it for everyone to remember easily.

👉 FOR VIETNAM AIRLINES FLIGHTS:

  • Island A (A1–A12)
    Self baggage drop area.
In addition, flights to France, Germany at night are also here.
  • Island B (B1–B12)
For Business Class, Sky Priority, and Special Economy. Those with priority cards go straight to island B for speed.
  • Island C (C1–C12)
This is the Economy area for all routes, including to Japan.
    Note:
The most convenient entrance is D1 or D2. If you're flying economy to Japan on Vietnam Airlines, enter D1 or D2, then look at the electronic board to find island C.

👉 FOR VIETJET AIR FLIGHTS:

  • All flights check-in at Island E (E1–E12).
Enter through door D2 as it's closest. If you go wrong to D1, you'll have to drag luggage quite far to get back to island E area.

👉 For flights of the two 5-star Japanese airlines, the check-in areas are arranged as follows:

  • Japan Airlines (JL): Check-in at Island G (G1–G7)
  • All Nippon Airways (NH): At Island H (H1–H6)
Note: Both airlines are concentrated at D3 area, so those flying to Japan on JL or NH remember to go to the right door to avoid circling around.
    👉 IMPORTANT NOTE:
  • The boarding gates have also been renumbered after expansion. After check-in, check the electronic board again to confirm the correct gate.
  • Morning and evening Japan flights are usually very crowded. Arrive at the airport 2–3 hours early to check-in and go through security more proactively."
Those about to fly international at Terminal T2 – Noi Bai soon should save this info to avoid wasting time circling the airport. Especially for elderly aunts/uncles or first-time international flyers, check the check-in island and entrance door in advance to be sure.

What about you? Which airline are you flying soon and not sure where the check-in area is? Comment so Nam and everyone can help for peace of mind before heading to the airport.
