Moxy Putrajaya (17-18/2/2026)
This is my third time at this hotel located in IOI City Putrajaya. Its location is right next to IOI City Mall. This hotel under the Marriott chain began operations in February 2024. On my first visit here, I stayed in a Moxy Queen room. The second time, I stayed in a Corner Queen Golf View room. On this third occasion, I chose a Booster Queen room. On the Trip.com app, this room type costs RM447. This price already includes taxes and breakfast for two people.
I arrived at the hotel around 2:30 PM and went straight to the counter located in the hotel lobby. The hotel lobby is on the ground floor and is quite spacious and beautiful. There were quite a few visitors when I arrived, but the check-in process was quick and the hotel staff service was very good. Since my room was already ready, I was immediately given the room access card. I took the elevator to Level 11, and there are five elevators in the hotel.
The Booster Queen room has an area of 301 square feet and is larger than the other room types. Upon entering the room, there is a bathroom on the right side of the entrance door, while on the left there is an open area for hanging clothes. After the bathroom door, there is a cabinet that houses a mini fridge and a safe deposit box. On top of this cabinet, there are utensils for making drinks.
In the bed area, besides one queen bed, there is a fairly large sofa on the right side of the bed. In front of the sofa is placed a moderately large round table. In the right corner of the room, there is a small work desk and a chair for guests to do office work. The hotel provides a large 60-inch TV mounted on the wall opposite the foot of the bed. The room I stayed in has a view towards the golf course and also Hotel Le Meridien.
The bathroom is small, accommodating a sink, toilet, and space for showering. The hotel uses a toilet bowl that has a small pipe inside it and does not provide a bidet hose. Although the bathroom is quite small, the shower space is quite spacious with a ceiling shower and handheld shower. This shower area is covered with 100% transparent glass. The hotel provides complete bathing amenities, including toothbrushes and hand towels.
The hotel has a swimming pool located on Level 2 and its size is quite large. It faces the IOI City Mall building. The pool operating hours are from 7 AM and closes at 9 PM. The pool is quite beautiful, but I don't really like the arrangement of the furniture which looks very crowded. Next to the swimming pool, there is a gymnasium that operates 24 hours.
In the room, the free WiFi provided reaches a speed of 67mbps. For telco, CelcomDigi reaches a speed of 561mbps. The hotel provides a lot of free TV channels, most of them in HD format. The water pressure in the bathroom is strong, and I really like showering in it. The hotel does not provide an iron in each room but instead provides a special room located outside the rooms.
Breakfast is at the restaurant located in the hotel lobby. The hotel provides a fairly simple breakfast menu that is not very varied. The hotel has special parking located next to the mall parking, and it is free for hotel guests.
The hotel's interior is very beautiful and very suitable for those who like taking photos (ootd), but the furniture arrangement is quite crowded. Many corners of the hotel are suitable for taking photos, including the lobby. In the lobby, there are also various games provided. The hotel's location next to IOI City Mall makes it easy for guests to shop or eat at the mall. This hotel is not very suitable for guests with large families because of the small rooms. For those using public transportation, the hotel is 9.2 km from Putrajaya Sentral. Guests can take the MRT or ERL to that station before taking e-hailing to the hotel.
