Good news for Japan travel enthusiasts 🇯🇵
From April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027, the visa application fee for Japan will be slightly adjusted upward, but the increase is very minimal: single-entry visa increases from 500,000 to 520,000 VND, multiple-entry visa from 1,000,000 to 1,030,000 VND, transit visas and preferential visas for Indians remain at the old rate.
In general, visa costs have hardly changed much, so if you are nurturing plans to go to Japan to see cherry blossoms, hunt red leaves, or experience culture, go ahead and plan right now!
