Quick Review of Mysterious Land Prequel: Memories of the Fire God.
Hi everyone, I'm sharing my personal experience going to see Mysterious Land Prequel: Memories of the Fire God.
🟡Time
-Over two hours. There is a 15-minute intermission in the middle.
-Should arrive at the theater early about 10 minutes is perfect: enough to settle seats, not have to wait too long.
-Children under 6 years old should consider the 5pm show which is more suitable. The 8pm show ends late at 10pm, the little ones will be sleepy, tired from overload due to loud sound and lights.
🟡Seat selection: Everyone see the diagram image for easy visualization.
-AREA A - front of the stage, direct view (tickets from 450k - according to the fee table on the web)
Rows 1,2: quite a lot of water splashing. Those who like to get wet for fun can choose 😊
-AREA B - offset left/right of the stage (Tickets 350k, our family bought this type, bought directly at the theater)
Rows 1,2: still has water splashing, but less than area A.
Row 1 close to the stage, so fire scenes will have a bit of smell and heat radiating out.
-Even rows (2,4,6,8,10,12,14) view to the stage is quite good. From seat 16 onwards it will be offset a lot to the side of the stands. Odd rows are similar to even rows (count 1,3,5,etc).
🟠🟠Depending on the family's resources choose to buy tickets. Area A will definitely see the full front of the stage, clear interaction. I'm in area B, looking offset to the right side of the stage. The kids and I could observe the artists counting beats, observing each other, supporting setup and retreat formations. Each position has its own experience.
🟠Notes for little ones going for the first time, you can show kids images, or notify in advance:
-The whole stage lights will be turned off, pitch black. No phone flash lights.
-Water splashing from the stage,
-Fire → some heat (depending on seat position)
-Loud sound: music, drums
-Duration over two hours a bit.
-Everyone can consider bringing: Jacket (me and the kids not cold, but grandma felt a bit cold)
-There is food and drinks sold outside. If bringing your own food, can bring compact light snacks, dry food and clean up after eating.
-Those who love water, like interacting taking photos bring extra clothes.
Like last year at the end of the show there will be a freestyle free for little ones. But this year the artists enthusiastically played with the little ones a lot, so it turned out completely wet )
🟠Hygiene and safety
-Restrooms I saw compared to last year are newly renovated with bright lights and cleaner
-Emergency exits: I only saw one, same as the entrance gate.

Cannot compare last year and this year. Each year is a different story. Everyone if have chance go see and feel.
For me, Memories of the Fire God is still very elaborate, many oh wow performance scenes. Our show the audience clapped and cheered, the artists energetic and performed very enthusiastically. This year also added a bit of direct artist interaction with audience. Very fateful and humorous.
