Azul Brazilian Airlines: RIA x CNF Round Trip
We chose Azul a lot for the route we do the most between RS and MG, not so much for the price but for the ease of being able to fly from our city all segments, since Azul is the only airline that serves our airport. Our most recent flights were smooth and satisfactory. I have always liked Azul's services, and overall I still like them but it's a shame they are charging for practically everything, even advance seat selection. If you are not aware of what you are doing, the website can induce you to pay in advance for the seats you will use. Round trip with 2 connections in each direction, for example, are R$15.00 per seat for advance selection per segment, flying in 6 aircraft so R$90.00 just for seats, this for one person, if you consider one more checked bag at minimum, it's already R$150.00, a complete absurdity. Of course if you don't select in advance or leave it to select within the 72 hs limit before the flight (if I'm not mistaken) you don't pay this surcharge, but even so, it's a practice that shouldn't exist. They want to charge for more space? Great, those who opt for it, pay. Charging to select regular seats is a complete absurdity. If the tickets had at least gone down in price as was advertised, it would be okay, but it's quite the opposite. A shame. Regarding the flights and services on the routes, everything adequate and on schedule.
