The pinnacle of Hallasan scenery — Witse Oreum and Bristlecone Pine Forest

Starting point: 2466-1 Sanghyeo-dong, Seogwipo-si (Yeongsil Trail Entrance)

To summit (Witse Oreum): About 3.7km (one way)

Total round trip time: 4~5 hours

Access to Baekrokdam summit: ❌ (Not possible)

📍 Bus routes:

Seogwipo Intercity Bus Terminal → Bus 240 → Get off at Yeongsil Rest Area

From Jeju Airport → Rental car or taxi recommended (poor public transport connection)

🚗 Parking lot:

Yeongsil Rest Area parking lot (paid 2,000 won)

During peak season, recommend arriving before 8 AM

🌲 Course features:

About 1 hour of wooden staircase course, then arrive at Witse Oreum Shelter

If weather is good, can enjoy views of Hallasan south wall and Seogwipo cityscape
