Checklist to avoid traps when entering Shanghai Disneyland
The following items are not allowed through security:
– Bottled water over 650ml
– All glass items (perfume, cups, water bottles…)
– Suitcases over 22 inch, folding chairs, mini chairs
– All types of sprays (sunscreen spray, hair spray, deodorant spray…)
– Tripods, selfie sticks, extension poles
– Food with strong odors or alcohol (durian, wine, stinky tofu…)
– Food that needs heating (cup noodles, self-heating hotpot…)
If you have even one item from this list, you'll be held back at the gate right away.

Disney has a game where you answer questions to get free gifts
Staff in the park will ask a few quick questions, answer correctly and you get a small souvenir to take home. Save these answers:
– What color are Dumbo's ears? → Pink
– What color is Cinderella's carriage? → Gold
– What color are Judy's (Zootopia) eyes? → Purple
– What's on Donald Duck's hat? → Green polka dots
– What shape is Elsa's magic wand? → Snowflake

3 "secret" paths to play faster than others
Knowing these 3 paths saves 20–30 minutes queuing per area:
Path 1 – Fastest way to Zootopia
Main gate → Sweethearts → turn right to castle → Moonlight → Treasure Cove → go middle path → straight to Zootopia.
Path 2 – Use single rider line
TRON and 7 Dwarfs both have Single Rider lines, 20–40 minutes faster than regular lines.
Path 3 – Mickey's fairy tale
Has 2 lines, go early choose right side, go late either side is fast.
