Electrical Outlets in Hong Kong - Different from Vietnam, Remember to Bring an Adapter
In Hong Kong, most outlets in hotels are square pin type (British style - similar to Singapore), so the common electrical outlets used in Vietnam won't work there at all. One time the admin carelessly forgot about this, came over here thinking to buy one, but saw they were selling for 500k at the airport so decided to just tough it out and go back to the hotel to check if there was somewhere cheaper to buy near Quy Ba Market.
Unexpectedly, at the hotel where I was staying, they had already prepared an adapter outlet. Oh my, I'm so grateful to the hotel, really wonderful and heartwarming (^^)
