Hello everyone! I just discovered an extremely interesting way to get around in the outskirts of Paris and want to introduce it to everyone right away. That's the urban cable car C1 line – a brand new means of transport, the first in the Île-de-France region, which just opened in December 2025.
If you think cable cars are only for high mountains, you're in for a surprise experience!
"One-of-a-Kind" Transportation Experience Right Near Paris
The C1 line is not just a trip from point A to point B. It's a unique scenic journey. In 18 minutes hovering high up, you'll fly over the urban areas of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, Limeil-Brévannes, and Valenton. Sincere Advice from Me
Try it in the late afternoon: At sunset, the city view from above will be absolutely beautiful, with street lights starting to come on very romantic.
Prepare camera/phone: The view from the spacious glass cabin is an extreme "Instagrammable" film set.
Combine with local exploration: Get off at La Végétale or Villa Nova stations to stroll and feel the local life in Paris suburbs, very different from the bustling center.
No worry about cost: Because it uses the same ticket as buses, you can experience this unique transport without it being expensive at all.
