Muszyna, Poland: Breaking Popularity Records
Muszyna, Poland—this mountain resort is shattering popularity records.
A Booming Mountain Destination
Muszyna is one of Poland's mountain hotspots that's exploded in popularity in recent years. New attractions keep popping up at the resort, drawing bigger crowds every season. It's no longer just a spa getaway; it's become a perfect family spot. The latest stats prove it—in 2025, the local themed gardens, a major draw for the town, welcomed a record-breaking 350,000 visitors.
Rising Star Over Crowded Krynica-Zdrój
Muszyna is emerging as a fantastic alternative to the overcrowded Krynica-Zdrój resort. It focuses on relaxing in nature and family-friendly amenities. The themed gardens have become the star attraction, pulling in 350,000 guests in 2025 alone.
Beyond Spa Services
City officials stress they're not limiting themselves to spa tourists anymore. They're offering activities for all ages, and the themed gardens have earned nationwide acclaim. Last year, new sections opened, including the Greek Garden and Chinese Garden, expanding the walking routes and encouraging longer stays.
Mayor's Vision for the Future
Muszyna's mayor, Jan Golba, is all in on continued investments. "In 2025, a whopping 350,000 people visited our Muszyna Gardens, proving with their presence just how stunning this place is. They can't be wrong. Come to Muszyna. This year, new attractions will pop up not just in the gardens but across the whole urban area," shared Mayor Golba.
He highlighted year-round activities for adults, teens, and kids. Stats show a big chunk of visitors come from Poland and neighboring Slovakia.
Top Things to See and Do
Besides the gardens, check out the market square with its town hall and historic dungeon, plus the partially reconstructed castle. Thrill-seekers will love white-water rafting, a hot new activity in this small town. In summer, outdoor pools open up, making hot days more bearable and stays even longer.
