Navigating the Tianmen Mountain Ascent: A, B, and C Routes
There are three distinct routes to ascend Tianmen Mountain: A, B, and C. Route A is generally preferred for its ease and the fact that it doesn't require backtracking. However, during peak seasons, expect larger crowds on this popular path. Route A features a long cable car ride up, followed by a more relaxed descent down the heavenly staircase, and concludes with a swift cable car ride down.
Route B is the second-best option, also designed to avoid retracing your steps. This route involves a shuttle bus transfer to a rapid cable car that takes you uphill. You'll then embark on the challenging 999-step climb up the heavenly staircase, with the long cable car ride down as your reward.
Route C is typically reserved for periods of extreme peak season when both Route A and B are fully booked. This route involves some backtracking and is generally not the recommended choice.

The view was an endless expanse of white, rendering all sights invisible. The glass skywalk felt like a walk through nothingness, and Tianmen Cave itself was nowhere to be seen, leaving a slight tinge of regret to my journey.
