To reach this delightful establishment, head into alley 8A Thai Van Lung in District 1. Venture to the very end of the alley, then turn right. Continue to the end of that path, and you'll find the restaurant on your left, nestled beside the last building.
An Intimate Japanese Ambiance
The magic of Omakase unfolds on the second floor, where a wonderfully serene and distinctly Japanese atmosphere awaits. The dining space is intentionally intimate, featuring just two tables, each comfortably seating four guests. For those who prefer to be close to the culinary action, there's also a sushi bar that accommodates ten people, offering a front-row seat to the chef's artistry.
Omakase Sets: Quality Meets Value
Sushi Taka Omakase presents a curated selection of four Omakase sets. While the highest tier is priced at 1,500,000 VND, the experience at the 1,300,000 VND set proved to be incredibly satisfying, leaving us wonderfully full. The quality of the fish served was outstanding – incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. Our chef was not only highly skilled but also provided service with a genuine smile and attentive care. It was truly a ten out of ten experience, especially considering the incredible value for such premium, fresh ingredients at this price point.
One minor observation upon entering the dining area was a slight, yet fleeting, aroma of fresh fish. However, this dissipates within a few minutes, allowing the exquisite flavors and dining experience to take center stage.
