Assumption Day Crowds at the Louvre, Lost Maps, and Parisian Heat

A Glorious Assumption Day Amidst Parisian Heat

Today, we celebrate the Assumption of Mary, a significant public holiday. Naturally, the Louvre Museum buzzed with an incredible, serpentine queue even at its underground entrance.

Disappointingly, I seem to have misplaced my museum map! The thought of returning just to retrieve one feels a bit much.

Is anyone else planning a Louvre visit soon? I'd love to hear about your experiences!

Paris has been scorching hot today. However, the good news is that the temperatures are predicted to drop significantly starting next week.

A Sanctuary of Serenity

Amidst the bustling city, I found a moment of peace at the Église Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, also known as the Church of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption on Rue Saint-Honoré.
