The VIP Arrival Experience
Typically, regular room guests check in on the 48th floor. However, this time, I booked a club room for an elevated experience. For those opting for club rooms and above, check-in happens at the Club Lounge on the 71st floor – a truly VIP welcome! While waiting, a refreshing welcome drink and a selection of light snacks, pastries, or nuts are provided to enjoy.
The space itself offers complete privacy, and guests who book these rooms are privy to several exclusive privileges.
My Club Room Retreat
My room was situated on the 60th floor, featuring an incredibly comfortable king-sized bed. Inside, you'll find a dedicated workspace, a well-stocked mini-bar with an array of teas, coffees, and bottled water. There's also a plush armchair positioned perfectly to admire the stunning city view.
The bathroom, while not expansive, is thoughtfully equipped with both a bathtub and a separate standing shower.
Hotel Amenities for Relaxation and Indulgence
The hotel boasts an infinity pool on the 47th floor, along with a fully equipped gym featuring a comprehensive range of modern machines. Also on the 47th floor is a serene spa area, perfect for unwinding. If you're in the mood for a delightful coffee, afternoon tea, or expertly crafted cocktails, The Lounge on the 48th floor is the place to be.
Exclusive Club Lounge Perks
A highlight of my club room booking at Vinpearl Landmark 81 Autograph Collection was the privilege of enjoying the afternoon buffet at the Club Lounge. This delectable spread is available from 5 PM to 8 PM.
The buffet is meticulously arranged, offering a diverse selection of Asian and European dishes, alongside a variety of teas, coffees, mocktails, and cocktails. Outside of the 5 PM to 8 PM buffet hours, the lounge continues to serve teas, coffees, pastries, and fruits for guests with club room bookings or higher.
Another fantastic perk for club room guests is the choice of breakfast location: you can opt for the buffet on the 71st floor or the 66th floor, or even indulge in both if your appetite allows!
Breakfast Choices: A Tale of Two Floors
The breakfast buffet on the 66th floor offers a wider variety of dishes. However, it tends to be quite crowded. In contrast, the 71st floor provides a more private dining experience, though with a slightly less extensive selection.
Ultimately, taste is paramount, and I found both the breakfast buffet and the Club Lounge afternoon buffet to be exceptionally delicious.
Weekend Culinary Delights
For those planning a weekend staycation, the Oriental Pearl's evening buffet, running from Wednesday to Sunday between 6 PM and 10 PM, is an absolute must-experience. Prepare for a premium seafood feast, complemented by local specialties and the renowned sky-high pho – a dish you absolutely must try.
