Exciting Korea Visa Update: Changes Effective July 1, 2025

Important News for Visa Applicants

Get ready for a key update regarding South Korean visa applications! These changes, focusing on application submission locations, will be in effect starting July 1, 2025.

Where to Submit Your Application: A Revised Zone

The area for submitting applications has been adjusted. Take note of the following:

  • Previously: Applicants from Binh Dinh province and southward submitted applications in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Now (Effective July 1, 2025): The area changes to Gia Lai province and southward.

This means that applicants from Quang Ngai, including the former Kon Tum province, will no longer be able to submit their applications in Ho Chi Minh City. The regulations regarding temporary residence in Ho Chi Minh City remain unchanged. Applicants should plan their submissions accordingly.

Big City 5-Year Visa (C-3-9)

For the 5-year multiple entry visa (C-3-9) designated for major cities, if your CT07 (residence confirmation paper) indicates Ho Chi Minh City, you are still eligible to apply. This is great news for those already residing there.
