My Jeju Island Adventure: A Quick Recap
Sharing a glimpse into my team's recent trip to Jeju!
Getting to Jeju is super convenient because South Korea offers visa-free entry to Vietnamese passport holders visiting the island. For this trip, we flew from Hanoi to Hong Kong, then to Jeju (currently, there aren't direct flights if you're traveling independently). Hong Kong airport is massive and impressive, with plenty of shops and restaurants to keep you occupied during your transit. To ensure I had a reliable and affordable internet connection, I purchased an eSim from Gigago.vn, which was quick and easy to activate.
Jeju in Bloom: A Floral Paradise
Jeju during flower season is genuinely stunning. Everywhere you look, you'll find cherry blossoms and vibrant yellow canola fields. The weather in Korea at the end of March is perfect – clear blue skies, golden sunshine, and picture-perfect moments everywhere you turn!
Jeju is quite a large island, boasting mountains, beaches, a bustling city center, numerous attractions, and plenty of charming cafes and restaurants.
A Culinary Journey Through Jeju
When it comes to food, I recommend trying your luck at different places. I prioritized restaurants near the attractions we visited, and luckily, every spot we tried was fantastic. If I had to recommend some must-try dishes, you absolutely need to sample the abalone, hairtail fish, grilled black pork, and especially the tangerines – a signature fruit of Jeju.
