Thailand Trip Tips for First-Timers!

Sweet Treats & Savvy Shopping

Just got back from Thailand and wanted to share some quick tips for those of you heading there for the first time!

After You Dessert: Airport vs. City Prices

That adorable After You mini dessert? It's about 66 baht at the 7/11 in Don Mueang (DM) Airport. BUT, in the city, it's only 55 baht at 7/11!

Pro Tip: If you're planning to bring some back, grab them in the city for a much better deal. And at the airport, be sure to buy them before you go through security.

Mango Sticky Rice at Don Mueang Airport

You can find Mango Sticky Rice at DM airport after security for 195 baht. No need to rush! There are like 4 or 5 different stalls selling it, so take your time and choose the one you like best.

Inhalers: 7/11 vs. Big C

Good news – those little inhalers are the same price at both 7/11 and Big C! So just pick one up wherever is most convenient for you.

Garrett Popcorn: A Crunchy Consideration

The smallest size (S) bag of Garrett popcorn in butter flavor is the cheapest at 130 baht. The other flavors in the same size are around 180 baht. Heads up though, my popcorn wasn't super fresh, and some of the caramel-flavored ones stayed crispy for a couple of days!
