VinFast Updates Roadside Assistance for Empty Battery Situations
New Approach to Assisting Drivers
Starting June 6th, 2025, VinFast is evolving its roadside assistance strategy, transitioning to Roadside Assistance by Towing (RSA) in place of the Mobile Charging service previously offered.
Cost-Free Assistance for VinFast Owners
VinFast will cover the expenses associated with this RSA service. This applies to all privately-owned VinFast electric vehicles. Please note that this policy does not extend to electric vehicles owned by GSM or other transportation partners.
How RSA Works
In situations where your vehicle runs out of battery power during a journey, the RSA service will be activated to tow your vehicle to the nearest charging station or your home, whichever is closer.
Refining the Customer Experience
The Mobile Charging service, which provided emergency assistance via mobile charging vehicles for drivers experiencing depleted batteries, was originally launched in 2022. This service played a key role in enhancing the user experience during the early stages of electric vehicle adoption. This adjustment seeks to optimize operational efficiency and ensure prompt, safe assistance to customers in emergency situations.
