Discovering Saigon Dining Room: A Hidden Gem in Thao Dien
Nestled away in the heart of Thao Dien, you'd never guess that behind those grand villas lies a restaurant with such striking decor. True to its name, Saigon Dining Room feels like a spacious dining hall, boasting a cozy ambiance and eye-catching details.
Exquisite Tableware: A Touch of Elegance
The owner of the house and the brand are both connected to Cuong Phat, a high-end ceramic company specializing in restaurant and hotel ware. Every plate and bowl used here is simply stunning, adding a touch of sophistication to the dining experience.
A Culinary Journey: Set Menu Highlights
The set menu, priced at 1500++, may not have a plethora of dishes, but it makes up for it with consistent quality. I was particularly impressed by the cod with yuzu garlic sauce and the 14-day dry-aged Long An duck. The duck was exceptionally tender, with a rich, sweet flavor that highlighted the freshness of the meat.
Whole Roasted Duck: A Delicious Takeaway Option
Saigon Dining Room also offers whole roasted duck for delivery, complete with dipping sauce, for only 750K. In my opinion, this is a very reasonable price considering the duck weighs nearly 3kg and can easily feed 4-5 people.
