My First Parisian Love Affair: A February to Remember

My very first trip to Paris happened in February, and let me tell you, the Parisian spell hasn't worn off yet! I'm just bursting to share some memories.

Saint-Germain-des-Prés: My Parisian Home

I stayed in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, practically next door to the legendary Café de Flore. Talk about location, location, location!

Café de Flore: A Dream Come True

I arrived in Paris around 9 PM, and after dropping my bags, I immediately headed to Flore. And guess what? It was practically empty! I have no idea why. Because only three days later, there were huge lines. I must have been incredibly lucky.

I heard the Japanese waiter, Mr. Yamashita, was on leave at the time, but I'm told he's back and doing well. Next time, I absolutely have to meet him.

Stepping into Flore that first night felt like stepping into a dream. Paris is magical!

Next Time in Paris...

Unfortunately, the neighboring Les Deux Magots was closed for the season in February. Something to look forward to next time! And I never made it to Flore for breakfast, so that's also on the list.

Oh, I want to go back to Paris so soon!
