Come and experience the mesmerizing water fountain show at The Global City! It's currently free to enjoy.
Showtimes: Saturdays and Sundays, starting from 6 PM. Shows run frequently, with approximately 10-minute intervals. You can drive your motorbike right in to watch, but be mindful of parking and security.
Getting There:
Transportation Options:
- Motorbike/Car: Follow your GPS navigation app. Parking is available near the roundabout with the cube sculpture.
- Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien):
- Get off at An Phu Station.
- Walk across the pedestrian bridge towards Mega Market.
- You'll find the TGC01 electric bus stop.
- Hop on the free TGC01 bus, which goes directly to The Global City.
- Electric Bus #TGC01: Download the Vinbus app for schedules and real-time tracking. This is a free electric bus route from District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
- The bus route includes stops at Techcombank Le Duan (District 1), Grand Marina Saigon (District 1), Landmark 81 (Binh Thanh District), and the Metro stop (formerly District 2) before arriving at The Global City.
- For example, our group caught the bus in front of Sofitel Hotel (labeled on the app as Techcombank Le Duan). The app shows the departure time from Global City, so factor in about 30 minutes for the bus to arrive at the hotel.
The nearest motorbike parking location is near Children's Hospital 2 on Nguyen Du Street.
What to Bring:
- Mosquito repellent/insect bite cream.
- Picnic blanket.
- Plenty of water, snacks, and fruit. (There are food vendors in the kite-flying area. For a more upscale experience, explore the SOHO walking street for restaurants, cafes, and bubble tea shops.)
- We brought our own food and drinks, which saved us time searching for places to buy them.
- Strollers/scooters/bikes (with the extensive area, bringing wheels for the little ones can help prevent tired legs!).
- Kites (large or small).

- Kite-flying/picnic area
- City Park (check ticket prices) - outdoor games, Go Kart, 7D cinema, horseback riding. Open 10 AM - 10 PM.
- Golf course (The Global Golf Academy & Club)
- Water fountain show with picnic lawn/Light bridge water fountain. Shows run Saturdays and Sundays from 6-7 PM.
- Global City Skate Park (skateboarding, rollerblading). Open 4 PM - 10 PM.
- Slide area in Soho (N3A, row LK6-LK7)
