Plitvice: Where Emerald Dreams Come to Life
Today, my journey takes me to Plitvice Lakes National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage site and an absolute must-see when exploring the Balkans.
A Symphony of Water and Woods
Picture this: sixteen lakes, large and small, cascading into one another through countless shimmering waterfalls. Ancient forests embrace the winding wooden walkways. The water is so clear you can see schools of fish swimming beneath your feet. The sounds of nature here need no filter – a simple breath fills you with pure and profound serenity.
Discovering Hidden Beauty
I chose the longer route to soak in the panoramic views from above, following the wooden steps down to the base of the largest waterfalls. I felt as though I'd stumbled into another world – one painted with every shade of green, filled with the rush of water, and permeated by a sense of unparalleled tranquility.
A Passion for Exploration
A destination like Plitvice is why I love my job as a guide in Europe – each day is a new adventure, each place has its own unique story to tell. If you'd like to join me on journeys like this, don't hesitate to reach out.
P.S. I offer guided tours in a comfortable nine-seater, which allows us to easily access unique and hidden gems, and of course, savor authentic local cuisine.
