Must-Try Food Adventures in Thailand! 😋😍
Visiting Thailand? Get ready for a culinary adventure! Thai food isn't just delicious and unique; it's also incredibly affordable. Check out these amazing spots:
Burnbusaba
Calling all marinated crab and spicy cockle fans! If you love these, Burnbusaba is your spot. They have a branch in Siam Paragon, but it gets crowded. I recommend taking a Grab to their other location—it's spacious and clean.
Address: 195, 19 ประดิพัทธ์ แขวง สามเสนใน เขตพญาไท, พญาไท, Bangkok 10400
Thipsamai
I highly recommend visiting the original Thipsamai location instead of the ones in Siam or Iconsiam. The flavor is just better at the original! And their orange juice is top-notch—not bitter at all.
Open from 5 PM to midnight, and the lines get long, so plan accordingly!
Address: 313 315 Maha Chai Rd, Samran Rat, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200
Kub Kao Kub Pla
This restaurant is a familiar favorite for mall-goers. The food is pretty good! I had to wait in line at Siam Paragon. If you're short on time, look for their other locations.
Here Hai
The unbeatable crab fried rice! I've raved about it before, so just go and enjoy. Ten out of ten!
Open from 9 AM, but the lines can be 20-30 minutes long. Check their opening hours on Google before you go.
Address: 112, 1 Ekkamai Rd, Khwaeng Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110
Somtum Nua
This place is super affordable! It's located in Siam Square Walking Street, making it perfect for a snack after shopping.
Address: 392, 12-14 Rama I Rd, Khwaeng Pathum Wan, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330
Laylao
I saw good reviews for this place and decided to try it. I thought it was pretty good! They have some unique dishes worth trying.
Address: Phahon Yothin 7 Alley, Samsen Nai, Phaya Thai, Bangkok 10400
Go-Ang PratuNam Chicken Rice
This Hainanese chicken rice is amazing! If you're tired of Thai food, this is a cheap and satisfying option. Order the stir-fried vegetables too—they're fantastic!
Address:
Cn1 : 960-962 Soi Phetchaburi 30, Makkasan, Bangkok, 10400, Thailand (Open 6 AM - 10 PM)
Cn2 : There's an air-conditioned shop next to The Market and Big C.
Payak Boat Noodles near Victory Monument
While many people eat at the more popular spot next door, I prefer this one. It seems like many locals eat here too! The broth isn't too salty, and they have a variety of noodles to choose from.
Address: Ratchawithi 10 Alley, Thanon Phaya Thai, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400, Thailand
Snack Recommendations
- Coconut pancakes: Super delicious! The ones in Siam Square are better than the ones in Big C.
- Pangcha: The Bingsu and milk tea are good, but not mind-blowing. Still unique and worth a try (8/10).
- After You: Always a 10/10! Order the honey shibuya toast. After all these years, it never disappoints.
- Chatramue Thai milk tea: The iconic, must-try drink.
