Kimono Dreams in Kyoto! 👘 A Must-Do Experience!
Hey everyone! So many of you have been asking about my kimono rental experience in Japan, and I'm so excited to finally share all the details! We chose this adorable little shop run by locals because it was super close to the Park Hyatt Kyoto, where we stayed. Seriously, it was a breeze to walk to Gion and the breathtaking Kiyomizu-dera temple – and let me tell you, exploring Kyoto's charming streets in a kimono just adds a whole new level of magic! ✨Finding Your Perfect Kyoto Stay

We made a reservation on Friday afternoon to pick up our kimonos Saturday morning. We felt that wearing Kimono in Kyoto would be amazing due to its cultural landscape, perfect for our family trip with my husband and our two teenagers. The shop is open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The prices were super reasonable: 5,000 yen for adults, 4,000 yen for kids, and 1,500 yen for hairstyling. Our total came to 20,000 yen (about $135 USD)! I think they gave us a slight discount because they loved how cute our youngest (12 years old) looked! Even our driver said it was a great price. The transformation was incredibly fast! They dressed all four of us in kimonos and styled the hair of the ladies in under an hour. We were ready to go by 8:55 am (even though our appointment was at 9:00 am!) and returned the kimonos before 5:30 pm the same day. The staff was incredibly helpful, offering personalized recommendations to match our preferences.Tips for Your Kimono Experience
