Explore Kuala Lumpur's Largest Secondhand Store: JBR Bundle Shah Alam

"Lost" in the Largest Secondhand Warehouse on the Outskirts of Kuala Lumpur

If you're used to the modern shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur, try switching it up with a very different destination: JBR Bundle Shah Alam, one of the largest secondhand stores in the city's suburban area. This place isn't a cute boutique for a quick visit, but a true "treasure trove," spacious enough to make first-time visitors pause for a few seconds in overwhelm.

The first impression upon entering JBR is… it's very spacious. The space spans two floors, with so much stuff that it's easy to feel overwhelmed if you don't know which way to go. The ground floor is mainly bulk second-hand items, categorized quite clearly, from men's and women's clothing, children's clothes, sportswear, jackets, hiking gear to even shoes, accessories, toys, stuffed animals, and some household items.

The upper floor is where many people are more interested, especially the branded items area. Familiar brands to vintage enthusiasts like Carhartt, Ralph Lauren, or Patagonia appear quite a lot, with prices generally more "affordable" compared to the secondhand market in Asia. The "精品" area doesn't have too many high-end items, but if you're patient and dig through, you can still hunt down worthwhile pieces at reasonable prices.

An interesting point of JBR is the areas selling by weight or at very cheap fixed prices. There's an area starting from 2-5 ringgit/kg, an area at 2 ringgit, even many items only around 12.90 ringgit. Quality is uneven, but for those who enjoy the thrill of hunting, this is the most fun part.

JBR Bundle is also famous for getting busier as it gets later. The store opens from 10 AM to 12 midnight, except on Fridays it closes midday from 12:30 to 2:30 PM, and during Ramadan it temporarily closes from 6 PM to 8 PM. On weekends or evenings, the parking lot is often very crowded, with the familiar sight of customers carrying out large bags.
