🙈#review HOTEL TRANSIT BOOKING PROCESS #FREE from #Shandong & #Sichuan airlines along with experience
🙋♀️ Hello everyone, I just had a flight from Beijing to Shenzhen, Shandong airline transiting at Qingdao from 23h-9h. After researching, for transit longer than 6h, the airline provides free hotel and this is my booking method: 👉Open Wechat, search for Shandong airline "山东航班" select (photo 1)
👉Select additional services - select transit hotel 中转酒店 (photos 2-3)
👉Open the airline app (photo 4) Login=Chinese phone number to get verification code - this airline is a bit restrictive as MUST use Chinese phone number and must be in mainland to receive the code, I tried VN number and Chinese number but while in VN both couldn't receive the code so everyone note to borrow a phone number to get the code first before entering the airline app to fill in passport info and select hotel.
👉After selecting hotel, there will be a "Booking confirmed successfully" message sent to the phone number you logged in with. On the flight day, contact the hotel to report landing time and need pick-up, the hotel will send a message with exact location/license plate of the pick-up car at the airport to the registered phone number (Photo 5) so everyone note to remind the "phone owner" to pay attention.
👉Shandong airline - Qingdao transit offers choice of 1 out of 3 hotels (photo 3S). My flight arrived at the airport around midnight + flying out the next morning so I chose JOY FALL HOTEL - closest one, experience was very good, hotel has pick-up/drop-off to airport=large shuttle bus, bus has clear hotel name, has abundant breakfast options, spacious room with 2 large beds, has AI voice control for room devices🧡 Quite fancy compared to my experience.

✈️ With Sichuan airline, I flew from Shenzhen back to Vietnam 23h-21h next day, transiting at Chengdu Shuangliu airport and next day flying back from Tianfu airport, I researched through reviews and saw some booked by sending #email to the airline (transferservice@sichuanair.com)-I also tried sending but after 1-2 days still NO response, got a bit anxious and tried the following faster method 🙈 : 👉 Go to app store- Download "Sichuan airline" app (photo 6)
👉 Login=Vietnamese phone number (this airline is more convenient than Shandong, no need to borrow Chinese number 🌝), select transit service 中转服务 (Photo 7)
👉Fill in passport info & ticket code to confirm itinerary, if it shows not found like mine (photo 😎 then select the "headphone" icon to have airline staff book directly, wait a bit long to get your turn but once your turn give info and it's booked right away. Staff will ask if you want confirmation via email or Chinese phone number.
👉After successful booking, airline will send specific info to your registered email or phone number (photo 9)
⭐️ NOTE as in my case transiting in Chengdu there are 2 airports Shuangliu and Tianfu, Sichuan airline provides quite many hotel choices-according to ticket class (Photo 10) so before messaging support staff, you should research and DECIDE clearly which hotel at which airport so staff can book quickly! My flight arrived at Shuangliu airport late at night so I chose
Joyhub Cheer Hotel - closest to airport. With this hotel, on flight day call to report landing time and need pick-up so they arrange. After landing-baggage claim, call the hotel so they tell you the pick-up car position at which door. Like my trip, from baggage claim go out towards door no. 5-take elevator to T1-door no. 3, look for small bus with joyhub hotel name.
This hotel is good because it's close and super big with many rooms but seems quite old so not very new, clean enough-has breakfast pick-up/drop-off to airport all included. Wish everyone selects a satisfactory hotel 🥰
🔥Another experience of mine that might help everyone is- I booked a hotel room in Shenzhen-Beijing via TRIP-paid in advance 1 week, I thought booking early is cheaper 😂 but after 4 days (meaning 3 days left) before check-in I checked the app again and saw still rooms available with "CHEAPER" code 300-400k 🫣.So I canceled the previous order and booked a new one ^^ money from Trip refunded after 6-7 days to card, very fair hehe. Everyone note to check the free cancellation time of that hotel.
🔥"Favorite" tip for long trip to China with 2 super useful items that I think are very very necessary if you plan to visit the country especially cold areas!
That's the "Mini vacuum sealer"-handles thick coats, puffer jackets, len... neatly compacted. Whole set with plug + bag super handy 🤘
Next is the "handheld 🍑 spray bottle"-in that country probably 99% public toilets or hotel / homestay even 4,5⭐️ do NOT have bidet spray 🫣 very uncomfortable so to keep our 🍑 "peaceful" not sore, this spray bottle is truly a "soulmate invention" everyone 😆
This trip I had chance to experience 7-8 airports and hotels in that country and only on the return at Tianfu airport-Chengdu did I feel "life's peak"-airport toilet has bidet spray and it's automatic everyone 🤣
