A Breathtaking Seine River Cruise with Bateaux Parisiens
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a memorable cruise on the Seine River with Bateaux Parisiens. My fellow passengers included a delightful family visiting from Japan, adding an international flair to the adventure.
Navigating the Crowds
Upon arriving, the ticket line was quite substantial. Opting for the ticket machines proved to be a wise choice, as the queue was significantly shorter, allowing us to purchase our tickets (19 euros per person) with minimal delay. However, the real challenge awaited us at the boarding area, where an even more daunting line had formed. We ended up waiting for over 40 minutes before we could finally step onto the boat.
Seating Strategy and Stunning Views
Once onboard, we discovered that securing a spot on the coveted rooftop seating was not to be. It seems a bit of strategic seat claiming is essential to truly enjoy the panoramic views. While my own photographic efforts weren't as successful as I'd hoped, the Japanese family who managed to snag rooftop seats were absolutely captivated by the sheer beauty of the Parisian scenery unfolding before them. It was a testament to the enduring charm of the Seine river cruise, especially in the wake of last year's Olympics, which has clearly boosted its popularity.
