Just spent a fantastic night at Sunway Hotel Velocity from May 31st to June 1st, 2025!
Room Details
We enjoyed a lovely Deluxe room, a pleasant upgrade from Superior as a GHA Discovery Platinum member. The room was secured for a steal at RM250 thanks to a Sunway Mega Deals voucher. The booking was made directly through the hotel via email.
Smooth Check-in Experience
The check-in process was remarkably smooth. After a brief consultation between reception staff, Assistant Front Office Manager Faz warmly greeted me, presenting a thoughtful gift from the Sales & Marketing team along with the room key. This personalized touch really set the tone for a wonderful stay.
GHA Discovery Perks
Good news for travel enthusiasts! The Sunway hotel group became part of the GHA Discovery program in May 2025. As an introductory offer, every booking earns double D$ – definitely a bonus to take advantage of!
A Bright and Welcoming Room
The Deluxe room was bright and airy, decorated with cheerful colors. All essential amenities were present, including a welcome gift for GHA Discovery Platinum members: delicious chocolates and salted egg chips. A delightful surprise was the inclusion of milk tea and Ipoh white coffee packets – a perfect touch for a caffeine lover like me!
Breakfast at Kaffeneiate
Breakfast was a delightful buffet experience at Kaffeneiate on the 5th floor, available from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. If your package doesn't include breakfast, it's priced at RM40 per person. The extensive spread featured flavorful nasi lemak with tender chicken rendang, spaghetti, fried rice, a noodle station, congee, various types of bao and dim sum, pastries including raisin rolls and peach danishes, two kinds of muffins, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, chilled juices, and cold cuts. A truly satisfying way to start the day!
