Georges: A Modern Parisian Escape with a View!
This is my seventh post! This time, I'm sharing about Café Georges, located on the top floor of the Centre Pompidou. (Heads up! It's temporarily closing for renovations starting this September, so catch it before then!)
I'm absolutely in love with Paris and regularly visit to study its architecture and design, both old and new. Every weekend, I share the "Modern Paris Architecture Information" I've discovered with you all.
Unwind with Panoramic Views at Georges
This is a modern restaurant offering a panoramic view of Paris. It's also the perfect place to unwind and grab a drink, making it an ideal spot to take a break from exploring the Marais district.
A Fashion Designer's Secret
I discovered this gem over 20 years ago when I had the opportunity to work with the fashion designer, JUNKO SHIMADA. She told me, "Paris has many places that are not only classical but also modern, with a real sense of esprit. The Pompidou's café is one of them."
It was the moment my interest in modern design was sparked! The entire space feels like a contemporary art piece, and the views of the old city from the seats are spectacular. It's a brilliant fusion of old and new design.
I definitely want to visit Georges one more time before its temporary closure this September!
