Epic 5-Day Road Trip: Vegas to Zion & Beyond!

Calling all nature lovers and adventure seekers! Got just 5 days of vacation? The stunning landscapes of Arizona, Utah, and Nevada are calling your name!

Fly into Las Vegas, rent a car, and get ready for an unforgettable road trip exploring the breathtaking beauty and rich history of these incredible states.

Your Itinerary:

  • Las Vegas
  • Valley of Fire State Park
  • Zion National Park
  • Horseshoe Bend
  • Antelope Canyon
  • Red Rock Canyon

Day 1: Vegas to Zion (via Valley of Fire!)

Fuel up with breakfast in Vegas, grab some road trip essentials (think sandwiches, snacks, and plenty of water!), and hit the road! First stop: Valley of Fire State Park (just a short 1 hour 10 minute drive from Las Vegas).

This place is a photographer's dream! Capture stunning shots against the vibrant red rock formations. Stay until sunset (they'll kick you out if you don't! 😁). Next, head to Zion National Park (about a 3-hour drive). Grab a bite to eat at a roadside diner along the way, as restaurants near Zion may be closed by the time you arrive. Spend the night in Springdale, a charming town with plenty of hotels right outside the park's entrance. Get some rest – you'll need it!

Day 2: Zion's Majesty & Page Bound!

Wake up early and hike the Canyon Overlook Trail. It's an easy 30-minute hike to a spectacular viewpoint. After checking out of your hotel, grab lunch at Thai Sapa, the only Vietnamese restaurant in town. (Delicious, but your taste may vary!). Time to head to Page, Arizona (about a 2-hour drive). But first, prepare to be amazed by the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway – the main road through the park. You'll be stopping for photos at least 5 times! 😉

Page: Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend

Page is home to the world-famous Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon. Book your tour in advance – these require guided tours!

Next, witness the breathtaking Horseshoe Bend ($10 parking fee). It's a 10-15 minute walk from the parking lot, depending on your pace.

Day 3: Exploring Antelope Canyon

Today, dive into the magical world of Lower or Upper Antelope Canyon (or both, if you booked tours!). Each canyon costs around $120 per person. After your tour, continue your adventure to the Grand Canyon (South Rim) – about a 2.5-hour drive. Spend the night at the Grand Canyon.

Day 4: Grand Canyon Views & Back to Vegas

Check out and hike around the Grand Canyon until noon before driving back to Las Vegas. The views are simply unforgettable!

Day 5: Farewell Adventure!

Pack your bags and head to the airport, filled with incredible memories of your Southwestern adventure! Goodbye!
